Nantucket High School Whalers sail successful fall training season.
Nantucket Community Sailing's Head 420 Race Coach, Pete Hazelett, stayed through October to help train the Nantucket High School Sailing Team, "Fresh out of the second day of school, the team began practicing early in the fall out of Jetties Beach. The Team sailed every day until early October, when they competed in the Sharon Fall Fleet Race. A handful of High Schoolers fresh to sailing and the team learned an insurmountable amount of knowledge through one on one coaching from experienced fellow students." Congratulations to the sailors on a great fall season!

NCS Capital Campaign Update
The NCS Capital Campaign is well underway! We set a goal to raise $1.3 million and to date we have raised over $480,000.00. This Campaign will help to build a home for the NCS fleet to be cared for, repair the facilities we currently have and will all us to create a reserve fund that will ensure financial stability for NCS. There are many naming opportunities available within the campaign, from Naming a Boat or a scholarship fund to naming the new Maintenance Facility itself! For more information, please call the NCS Office at 508-228-6600 or to view the capital campaign brochure click here.
