Dear Friends of NCS:

NCS would like to wish you a Happy New Year and remind you that summer registration is right around the corner! Please mark your calendar with our registration dates below:

Islander Registration for year-round Nantucket residents will open on our website on Tuesday, January 25th, 12noon EST and will close on Thursday, January 27th, 4pm EST. Our 2022 Scholarship form has been posted to the website in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, click here to view. Please note full payment will not be required at registration, and in 2022, NCS will no longer require a $75 student membership. Once scholarship funds are applied you will receive an email with the balance due. At that time, payment can be made or autobill will be effective Monday, February 21, 2022. Also, please note there will be no waitlist option, if you are unable to register, please try again during general registration.

General Registration will open on our website on Tuesday, February 1st, 12noon EST. Full payment will be due at registration and in 2022, NCS will no longer require a $75 student membership and the waitlist will be open.

Private Lesson bookings (youth and adult) and Women's Clinic registration will open on our Jetties Sailing Center website on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Bookings for Jetties Sailing Center rentals and our Tiny Salts toddler program will open in June, 2022.

Please note NCS' updated cancellation and membership policies:

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to June 15th will incur a 10% cancellation fee per session of enrollment. Cancellations made after June 15th are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for sick or absent days or for bad weather days.

Membership Policy

In 2022, NCS will no longer require a Youth Student Membership to participate in sailing classes. However, we strongly encourage participants to purchase a Jetties Sailing Center Membership to take full advantage of sailing and water sports throughout the summer. A Jetties Sailing Center membership includes complimentary kayak, paddle board and sailboat rentals as well a 25% discount on all private lessons.
