Groundbreaking Celebration!

You helped us get here and now we want you to be a part of NCS history! 

In 2012 NCS launched its first ever capital campaign, Catch the Wind.  With the purpose of raising funds to help update our facilities and to reserve funding for our scholarship programs, NCS set out with a goal of raising $1.9 million.   Due to the generosity of many, we have been highly successful and are only $205k away from attaining our goal.

Now, thanks to everyone who contributed to the Catch the Wind campaign, Nantucket Community Sailing is thrilled to announce that we will be breaking ground on our new maintenance facility this Saturday, November 16^th.  We invite all our supporters, friends, participants and members to join us at this exciting time.  

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 7 Shadbush Road from 8:30 - 9:30am.  Since this area is newly developed and most GPS maps won't be able to find us, here are some directions to help you find your way:

• Take Milestone Road from the rotary.
• Turn right onto New South Road (the turn after Nobadeer Farm Road).
• Bear left onto dirt road (Industry Road) at the VFW building. 
• Go straight down the road past the Myles Reis parcel. 
• NCS's lot on Shadbush Road will be on your left, inside the chain link fence.
