Dear Friends of Nantucket Community Sailing,

Join us on Nantucket this summer as Nantucket Community Sailing celebrates its 30^th anniversary and commemorates the 21^st Nantucket Race Week and the 52^nd Opera House Cup. In addition to regattas for all types of sailboats, you won't want to miss the special events:

NCS's mission today is the same as it was 30 years ago – to provide sailing access to all and give children the opportunity to develop the life skills that come with learning to sail: confidence, teamwork, and respect for the marine environment. Alan Newhouse's words resonate as our young sailors progress from Tiny Salts to Optis to 420s to becoming NCS sailing instructors. Sailing has helped many NCS students get into great colleges and become successful in life.

Nantucket Race Week is the primary fundraiser for Nantucket Community Sailing, and the proceeds from Nantucket Race Week fund critical NCS programs each year:

- Sailing classes for 1000 children, half are island kids receiving scholarships

- $150K in sailing scholarships and free sailing for island youth and adults who otherwise would not have access to sailing, including adaptive sailing lessons for children of all abilities, sailing and water sports for children from Nantucket Sports and Therapeutic Accessible Recreation (STAR) and the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, and therapeutic sails for Old Salts from the Saltmarsh Center and PASCON clients and caregivers

- Boats and equipment for the Nantucket High School sailing team

- Subsidized sailing for Tiny Salts toddlers and Silver Sailors

Ensign $500	NRW 2024 burgee, and your name listed in the NRW Program and on the NRW Sponsor Poster.(Charitable donation $480)
Captain $1,500	The above sponsor benefits plus a YETI Sidekick dry bag, and two tickets to the Classic Yacht Exhibition on Straight Wharf on Saturday, August 17^th, 5:30 – 7:00pm. (Charitable donation $1,380)
Commodore $2,500	The above sponsor benefits plus two tickets to the Opera House Cup Awards Party at Jetties Beach on Sunday, August 18^th, 6:00 – 10:00pm. Catering by Nantucket Catering Company, PJ's raw bar, and dancing to the Billy Blackstone band. Awards will be presented at 7:30pm.(Charitable donation $2,130)
Rear Admiral $5,000	The above sponsor benefits, with your gift upgraded to a YETI Panga 28L backpack. (Charitable donation $4,380)
Admiral $7,500	The above sponsor benefits, plus two tickets to the sold-out Brewery Night Party at Nantucket Yacht Club on Saturday, August 17^th, 6:30pm.(Charitable donation $6,680)
Secretary of the Navy $10,000	The above sponsor benefits plus the opportunity to view the Opera House Cup Regatta from aboard a lovely spectator boat. Space is limited. (Charitable donation $8,980)
