Description: |
This event is open to Youth 420 competitors. Entry is by invitation only. All participants must be approved for this event by the head instructor or program head of their member program (NCS, NYC, GHYC). Sailors from off-island are encouraged to register, but should understand that this is a BYOB regatta. Housing and coaching assistance are not provided. Charter club boats may be available, with or without rigs and blades. Club 420 sailors shall be juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday this year. Fees: |
Registration Fee: $50 per person. Skipper and crew must register separately. Registration includes one ticket to the Family Cookout at the Great Harbor Yacht Club on August 7th at 6:00pm. Additional tickets for the Family Cookout will be available online. |
| Charters: |
A limited number of 420 boats and rigs are available for charter from Nantucket Community Sailing. Please contact Emily Taylor at emily@nantucketsailing.org for more information. |
| Awards: | Results will be posted online. Awards will be presented at the Nantucket Yacht Club following the racing on Friday, August 8. |
Participants are responsible for their own lunches and water.
