2025 IOD Celebrity Invitational

Dates:

August 14 and 15 in Nantucket Sound
Thursday: 8:30am skippers meeting at the Nantucket Yacht Club
10:00am practice starts, followed by first warning signal

Friday: NO skippers meeting
10:00am first warning signal. No warning signal will be made after 2:30pm.

Description:

Teams may enter by completing the entry form online by clicking the registration link and submitting the entry form, together with the required fee. Participation is limited to 9 teams. The Organizing Authority will confirm which teams will participate. Crews shall consist of five sailors, of whom one is the Celebrity Tactician. The Organizing Authority may, in its sole discretion, accept any late entry. All Skippers shall be members of US Sailing.

Registration includes a skippers bag, five lunches for Thursday and Friday, assignment of a celebrity tactician to your crew, and four tickets to the IOD Celebrity Invitational Opening Night Buffet* at [a private home or GHYC] on August 13th at 6:30pm. Additional tickets for the Opening Night Buffet may be purchased separately.

Housing with host families may be provided for visiting teams. Housing needs should be specified on the entry form.

Fees:

Registration Fee: $3,000, of which $2,100 is a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Nantucket Community Sailing, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

Damage Deposit: $1,000

Awards:

Friday after racing on the Nantucket Yacht Club patio

Results will be posted online.
